Amethyst Colomb

Miss Amethyst has been dancing for 20 years. Her first taste of dance came from the world of Ballet at the age of five under the direction of the late Mary Byrne. From that first moment, she was in love! At the age of 12, she began tap class and her love for dance grew even more. Three years later, when Colomb knew she wanted to take dance to a whole new level, she became an official member of the Grand Performance family. Tap, Jazz, Ballet and pointe were among many of the genres of dance she partook in. Miss Amethyst thrived at Grand Performance, and three years later was an Award winning member of the Grand Performance Senior Dance Company.

Her love for dance has only grown and will continue to grow, especially in the joy of being a teacher. Miss Amethyst is excited to be back for her 7th year as an instructor in Hip Hop as well as a substitute teacher in Ballet, Tap & Jazz.

Don't be surprised if you see a huge smile on her face when she is taking Miss Gayle's Advanced classes along side her dancing buddies Miss Trish, Miss Nicole, Miss Julia & Mr. Mitch
